Am blogging from work office now. Just had a student reminded me of the tasks due today. Am in panic when I realised that I had no idea at all what was going to happen in my project -- to make things worse, a student knows more about what's happenning in the project more than me. (and I'm the 2nd in charge!!)

Feel intimidated. This must be how it feels like when people say they feel intimidated. Aargh, pretty frustrating. But I believe God wants me to live beyond this feeling of intimidation.

"Intimidation, here I come!!!" *swords clashing* (Picture me slaying the "Intimidation" giant!)

******

I was reading Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Life" last night when I came across a passage which says that we are all driven by something. It can be our past, our fear or guilt, or our desire for material things -- with guilt and materialism being most common. And hence I'm beginning to find it so true in my life, honestly asking myself what am I being driven. And it has just been surfaced that I might possibly let intimidation drive me if I'm not careful to be secure in God.

Thankfully, trust and faith in God wins the day....winks* =p

"Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

KTV outing outside Singapore~~

Just came back from K-ing in Malaysia. Neway KTV is really nice, with comfy seats and big TV screen. A tad disappointment is the karaoke facility though, which kept screeching after every other song. Tough to bare your voice to a screeching mike.

Hee, but most enjoyable part was the catch-up and "fellowship" with the crazy gang ladies (no longer gals but ladies now..haha =p). Its been quite some time since I've catch up with Mel, Shuyu and Yili, so its especially nice to chat over old times and to share our current life experiences. A real stress-buster...ought to do it more often.....lalala.

Faith like Potatoes

Just finished watching the movie "Faith like Potatoes" at YA movie night. It is a true story about a farmer who grew in his faith in God.....great faith until such that people around him thought he was a lunatic. The movie inspired and encouraged me to have greater faith in God -- His goodness and His power. Many times we know (ie. have head knowledge) that God is powerful, that he can do all impossible things -- but do we fully realise that He is just as good as well? Knowledge of His power must be balanced by knowledge of his goodness, to fully know him as who He is. It will be through this balance that we can have trust in God!

Haha...I'm getting carried away...but before so, here's the trailer of the movie.

“The condition for a miracle is difficulty, however the condition for a great miracle is not difficulty, but impossibility.”

- Faith Like Potatoes-

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.”

- Hebrews 11:1-

finished putting up blog links!

yay yay! Just set up "blog links" -- links to people's blog. Feel a great, no, a TREMENDOUS sense of achievement. Heheh, guess life @ work is really that boring such that putting a few blog addresses together will make me have such sense of achievement! Heheh, anyways, thank God for this =p
Rightey, just decided I need to blog again....get things off my chest. And this "Princess journeys" blog will be my new blog starting from now. Why the name "Princess Journey"? Coz this is my identity in Christ, in God -- A Princess of God! And "journey" is because I am travelling on this journey called "Life". (One of my fave quotes is this "life is a journey, not a destination") A journey which I am just a traveller in. And this journey may have its ups and downs, its beauty and its pain. It may be a journey with friends and loved ones, or a way in solitude. Nevertheless, whether the valley or the mountaintop, God is always with us! Praise Him!

Just to chronicle and testify of His goodness:

Had a bad headache when I got out of bed on tuesday. It got worse during work I was just thinking "this day is really bad. it sucks and I have a headache" and I was beginning to feel very upset. But then I decided to pray, so I sneaked out of the office into a secluded enclave with fresh air and started praying. Soon after I started praying, the headache was gone! Even till now I'm so amazed by His goodness. Indeed God is good~~ lalalalla

Testimony no. 2 (heheheh)
Had terrible nose allergy at night during my sleep. It had been disturbing me for a while, and finally I couldn't take it and asked mom to pray for healing. That night I slept like a baby -- and even mom noticed it as well!! Praise God that my nose allergy is getting healed! Less and less of the dripping nose each day and more and more of God's goodness each day! A reversal of circumstance! Yay!

Indeed "the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."     Psalms 100:5

The journey starts......

Just returned from church caregroup. Its been a long long time since I blogged....and an even longer time since I last used my brain and tapped into the power of the written word. Seriously, if this goes on I'll become retarded in no time. Hence, this new blog.

Why this blog? Because I really miss blogging. I used to blog as a student in Australia in theaussiechronicles.blogspot.com. This Aussie blog was created to record and remember God's blessings in my life in Australia. Then when I returned from Oz, life got tough, and I felt that there wasn't much things that I want to remember and record about. Until recently. Until now. God made me realise that everyday, every moment in life is worth remembering and celebrating. Because His goodness is found in every single experience in life. Even the "valley moments". Especially the valley moments =p

And "Princess journeys" is a reminder of my identity in Christ. An identity that is still being shaped constantly -- its a journey towards becoming full in the identity.

Simple Inspiration: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

So in tough circumstances, hold fast, hang on!
